Forgetful Jones

This morning Wes had an appointment about 2 hours away from our house. He got down there about 20 minutes away from the appointment at a gas station, he was out of gas. He realized he had forgotten his wallet. He called me and I seriously couldn't think of what to do. Luckily the gas station manager took our credit card over the phone. He drove all the way home and got his wallet, then drove all the way back. I had to teach, so I couldn't meet him. Poor thing.
Wes always says, "If it weren't for stupid mistakes, I wouldn't make any."

Getting ready for Halloween

The other day we went to Wal-mart and got some Halloween costumes. We like to buy our kids' costumes at least a month in advance, so they can wear them around the house. Byron's costume makes me laugh so hard! He looks so creepy. Lilly doesn't have her complete costume on in this pic. Just her wings. I think I will have her wear a pretty dress or something.
