I'm still alive!

I am getting over a bad sickness. It brought me to bed for over a week. I have had chills, diarrhea (I know too much info), nausea, heart racing, way tired, etc. I have never been this sick in my life. I was on antibiotics about a month ago and it killed the good bacteria in my stomach, so whatever I got was reeking havoc. I went to the doctors twice in the past month and he basically couldn't find what it was. I was just suffering at home. It was like Hell on earth! Then on Saturday I finally couldn't stand it any longer and went into the ER. They said that it could be some type of bacteria after testing my blood, urine, heart, did an x-ray, etc (which all came back fine). So, they gave me a prescription for this antibiotic that will kill the bad and keep the good bacteria in my stomach. Even though I am still weak and have nausea, I feel like I am coming back to life.
I have learned so much during this scrape with death. #1 Heavenly Father does hear my prayers and answers them in his time. I have had a blessing from Wes, we have said multiple family and couple prayers in my behalf and I have said a bajillion personal prayers each day. #2 I have really wonderful family and friends (it brings me to tears even when I think about it). Both my mom and mother in law came down at different times. I have gotten meals from a few good friends and I have received a lot of phone calls from concerned friends and family. I have also had a few close friends watch my kids so Wes could come with me to the Dr.'s and hospital. I appreciate life more, and I am so happy to be alive. Wes has been there for me the whole time, being Dad and Mom and super husband. He is such a good guy. He made my burdens light and is always there to hold my hand. Thank goodness he works from home and has such a flexible schedule!
I began to envy old people, and think a lot about how Heavenly Father decides who lives to be old and who gets their life cut short. And just seeing people walk around like normal. I never realized what I had until I barely had the strength to sit up. I have watched a ton of Magnum P.I. seasons on Netflix streaming. That has been the main thing that has kept me sane.
I hope none of you have to experience what I have gone through for the past month. Thanks for all your prayers and love. If you can avoid it at all costs, don't go on antibiotics!
Now I just need to pay it forward and look for more people to serve around me.
I feel better every day and feel blessed every day for the strength I'm getting back.
