Relief Society Teacher

A few weeks ago I got called as a Relief Society instructor in our ward. I spent a few hours today preparing my lesson and a few minutes a few other days. I am pretty nervous, I'm sweating even while I am preparing it. Just thinking about it makes my heart flutter. It is a bit hot in the office,(ha ha) but ya it is a good learning experience. I hope I do a good job and if no one in my class learns anything inspirational from the lesson, I know I have learned a ton through studying. I always learn so much more being the teacher rather than the student.

Fist Karate Belt

Byron had his first test today in Karate. He did really well! He has to know a lot. He got his yellow belt. I'm so proud of him. It has really been good for Byron to be in Karate. It's been great for self discipline and also to have something that he just does.

I was watching Dr. Oz the other day and saw this story of this man who is half man half tree. I couldn't believe my eyes!
